Yamini Sharma's photo looks like the girl next door types, but that's without any (or little) makeup. We will have to wait and watch how good her acting skills are. It takes a lot to be an actor these days. There are a number of things to learn. People even go to acting schools and "graduate" from television serials to movies. I find it strange that Satish Kaushik did not find a single good looking girl else where. India is filled with great looking young women. I guess Satish decided on this girl due to the media hype created. Choosing a common girl would not have given him so much publicity. All the best Yamini!

Steorn Hoax, Storn Hoax

Steorn Hoax, Storn Hoax? There has been a lot of news about "Free Energy" by a company called Steorn. Is this a Hoax or real? Steorn Ltd. is a company based in Ireland that claims to have developed a "free energy technology". In August 2006 Steorn placed a full-page advertisement in "The Economist", issuing a challenge to scientists to review their invention, which appears to be a perpetual motion machine. The company director McCarthy says "We have to fight public opinion, we have to fight the scientific community and we have to fight the energy industry. We couldn't pick a worse battleground."

The more I think about this I am of two minds:

1. These guys really do think they've succeeded in breaking the laws of thermodynamics.

2. Recall that Steorn is a former e-business company that saw its market vanish during the dot.com bust. It stands to reason that Steorn has re-tooled as a Web marketing company, and is using the "free energy" promotion as a platform to show future clients how it can leverage print advertising and a slick Web site to promote their products and ideas. If so, it's a pretty brilliant strategy.

The more I think of it, I think it's only a hoax. At this time, when energy prices are going higher and higher, Steorn couldn't have picked a better time to try what they are trying. Deep in my heart, I hope these guys have really done something smart. It will surely help our "little" earth. Even terrorism may stop!

But honestly, what modern physics has to say about the math is very simple, energy-in=energy-out. There's no overtly complex maths involved for calculating magnetic repulsion and attraction forces... You simply find the constants and divide them by the square of the distance... As for equations on the "interaction of magnetic fields" Steorn has been vague enough that no one really knows exactly what they're talking about...

I have this strange feeling, it will all end up as a famous "Steorn Hoax", or "Storn Hoax"!

If you consider that people have attempted to create a 'Perpetual Motion Machine' and always have failed. Most of the time the people showing one of them had working rigs etcetc. Every single time they have been shown to be a fraud.

From that angle it is EXTREMELY unlikely that steorn has stumbled upon a true working one, especially since it violates the basic understanding we have of energy (Which, granted, is not very much), namely, the conservation of it.

I hope it is not a measurement error, fraud or anything, and genuine. But I am very sceptical and hopeful too. We'll have to wait and watch if this turns out to be a "Steorn Hoax" or "Storn Hoax", how long I don't know. You say...

Sanju Got Kissed!

All of you must have heard the songs from the new version of Munnabhai - Lage Raho Munnabhai. There’s a funny story behind one of the those songs ‘Samjo ho hi gaya’. The toughest part was to shoot a portion of the song, especially the wordings ‘Apun ko mil gayi, arre ek kissing car, back seat pe jee bhar ke kiya pyar’.

While shooting for this portion, the make-up artist had to create kiss marks on Sanju’s face. He tried every possible way, but it did not look convincing enough, obviously thats not an easy task. Finally, Sanju jokingly told the choreographer, “There are so many girls in the dancing crew, why don’t we ask them to help us out?” That did it! The choreographer asked the dancers to wear fresh lipstick and plant kisses on Sanju’s face.

Sanju was shocked when he saw the dancers heading towards him. The girls walked up to him one by one and planted a kiss on his face. Once they were through, Sanju was all geared up for the shoot… with a blush and a naughty smile. Sure, this was one day Sanju would never forget!

Now, I don't know whether Sanju enjoyed the girls kissing him. But who cares a kiss is kiss. Unfortunately they were on the cheeks. On an other note, I must say that the bollywood industry has "matured". Where are the conservative girls gone? Is it so easy to convince girls to kiss a "paraya mard"? Even though it is Sanjay Dutt. What would their husbands/boy friends have to say about this?

No I'm not a conservative person and don't find this absurd/great. I'm just curious.

Lage Raho Munnabhai Trailer

Lage Raho Munnabhai, the sequel to Munnabhai MBBS which was the blockbuster of the year, is all set to release on September. The makers announced a 2nd adventure titled Munnabhai Part 2 involving Munnabhai (Sanjay Dutt) and Circuit (Arshad Warsi). And a very early teaser trailer was released almost a year back which showed Munna and Circuit dreaming of becoming a historic icon like Mahatma Gandhi. We Now have new video footages from the movie, this trailer not only featuring Sanjay and Arshad but also Vidya Balan and a host of other supporting characters in this exclusive song videos trailer.

Vidya Balan plays the role of a Radio Jockey in this movie, while Munnabhai has to convince her that he is a Lawyer. In the last movie his effort was to become a doctor!

Dasavatharam - A world record

Dasavatharam, the latest Kamal Hassan Movie is all set to create a world record. Kamal Hassan has assumed many an avatar in his eventful reel life. But this one can certainly be counted as the mother of it all. Something no other actor has attempted anywhere in the world, not to speak of Indian cinema!

Kamal will act in 10 different roles in a film aptly titled ‘Dasavatharam’.

The film, which is being produced by Oscar Ravichandran, will have KS Ravikumar as its director.

The current record for doing the maximum number of roles in a single film belongs to Thespian late Sivaji Ganesan, who enacted as many as nine roles in Tamil film ‘Navarathri’. Subsequently, Sanjiv Kumar did its Hindi remake called ‘Naya Din Nayi Raat’.

So, in a manner of speaking, Kamal will be creating a world record of sorts with the completion of ‘Dasavatharam’.

Dasavatharam - The Hype Already?

Dasavatharam, the movie being shot with Kamal Hassan in the lead has already led to controversies and rumours. Although the movie is still to begin shooting, there have already been rumors about the movie being shelved, that's not true.

Then it was AR Rahman who was supposed to compose the music, now it is Himesh Reshamiya. Even the genre of the movie is being speculated. Some say it is a comedy while some say it will be a thriller.

AVM Productions was supposed to produce the movie. AVM productions has split. Now AVM Saravanan is on his own. Kamal is expected to do a film for the man left alone – AVM Balasubramaniam. And according to the sources it is reported that Kamal has shelved Dasavatharam to accommodate the sudden venture where he has planned to join the race in Diwali with Sivaji.

Finally, this movie is set to achieve a world record by having 10 roles for Kamal Hassan. The earlier record was by Sivaju who played 9 roles. Also Read World Record for Dasavatharam

Long long ago in this ancient land of ours, great and simple men lived in the forest spending their time in contemplation and devotion. They created various systems of science and philosophy, many of which are valued and accepted even today. Consider the concept of time. Today we think of time as a linear movement, with the birth of Christ as marking point. But time is in fact a cyclic process, repeating endlessly and infinitely. This may seem strange to us, but five hundred years ago many thought the earth was flat, and the roundness of the earth seemed equally strange! Dasavatharam The Movie: The year-long preparation by one of India's greatest actors is finally over. Kamal Haasan began shooting for Dasavatharam, one of the most talked about films in recent times. For the past year, Haasan has been travelling mainly to the US to perfect the make-up for the film, where he dons 10 get-ups like Lord Mahavishnu himself.

The prime ten incarnations of SrI Maha vishnu are:

The shooting of Dasavatharam was originally to take place at the 2000-year old Airavatheeshwarar temple near Kumbakonam, but permission was denied as it was a heritage structure. So, for 15 days, 500 workers worked round the clock on a 5-acre plot at Muthukadu, a place on the East Coast Road in Chennai, to recreate the temple.

I'm still awaiting the official website information of Dasavatharam. I will post the download links to the trailer of Dasavatharam once it is made available. I'm also eagerly awaiting the images and wallpapers of Dasavatharam. It looks to be a very exciting and entertaining movie, just like the other movies of Kamal Hassan. What do you think folks? Lage Raho Munnabhai is the sequel to the famous hit movie Munnabhai MBBS. Well, I wonder if anyone can make a movie as good as MBBS. I'm waiting for the release though, still skeptical. I heard that this time Mummabhai is trying to be a lawyer trying to impress Vidya Balan who is a Radio Jockey.

It's nice to see such unconventional jobs become part of movies. Usually only doctors, engineers or architects were jobs given to actors. This is refreshing and sounds promising.

The songs seems OK, nothing impressive. Well, thats my opinion although many think that the music is good.

With the Sanjay Dutt's sensational Mumbai Bomb Blast case date nearing and is set to be around the same time as the release date of the movie, it's interesting to see whether his lawyer can bail him out!

Munna is a tough Bombay goon with a heart of gold. He confronts every situation with a uniqie, street smart attitude and humor. But even munna's successful dadagiri methods are tested when love takes him for an unexpected historical tour.

Rakhi Sawant Nude?

Just yesterday a friend of mine was asking if there was a Rakhi Sawant nude picture available on the Internet? After the Mika smootch incident, she seemed to have gained popularity.

Whatever happened to the case against Mika. He was also summoned by the Women's Rights forum. All seems to have been forgotten and the media has moved on to more spicier news. The law seems to have been made only for the rich, the middle class never gets justice and if they get caught, God save them, sorry even God cannot save them. Being middle class seems to be a curse.

Again coming back to the Rakhi Savant nude picture. We searched the Internet, alas we did not even find a morphed picture, we did find a lot of morphed Aishwarya Rai nude pictures though. Even with all this publicity stunts, Rakhi doesn't seems to have gained "that" kind of popularity.

We searched for "rakhi sawant pic", "rakhi sawant hot", "rakhi sawant picture", "rakhi sawant video" and "mika rakhi sawant".

Still we found a lot of real pictures of Rakhi although not the nude ones. Personally I don't like her looks. It's only the make-up which is making here look what she is. Without it she will look less than ordinary. So guys stop searching for nude pictures of Rakhi. Sorry you won't find them.

Jiah Khan chases people with a Knife

Jiah Khan (also spelt Jia Khan), who stars with Amitabh in Ram Gopal Varma’s Nishabd, is a self-admitted “rebel without a cause”. So much that when unit members would tease her, she would go after them with a knife!

“Please don’t think I’m crazy or anything like that,” laughs the 18-year old. “It’s just that whenever the unit people irritated me after pack up, I would get really mad.” And whom did this include? “Everyone, except for Mr Bachchan and Ramu.”

The reason that got her so mad, she says, “Everybody would tease me saying that I was exactly like my character in Nishabd, i.e. rebellious and doing whatever I want. They would tease me in front of Mr Bachchan, knowing that I couldn’t do anything in front of him. So after pack up, I would go to the kitchen, take a knife and go chasing after them. Eventually, they stopped!”

I don't know whether she was seriously running after them with a knife with anger or it was just fun. However, I think it was quite a silly and dangerous thing to do. Well if people stopped teasing her, it must have been quite serious.

Jiah Khan - The new entrant in Bollywood

Jiah Khan! After all the khans we have in bollywood, we have another one. This time a cute one. ;) Jiah Khan (also spelt Jia Khan), starred with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan in Nishabd! Jiah was just 18 when she debuted in the movie.

What a feeling one must have to have watched your hero as you grown and then work with him in a movie along side. Jiah Khan said she did have problems initially doing love scenes with Amitabh, understandably.

The movie Nishabd revolves around a 54-year old married man, played by Bachchan who falls in love with a girl, 36 years younger than him. Jiah plays Bachchan’s love interest. They believed that a new face will make the character more believable.

As for her experience of working with Amitabh Bachchan, Jiah Khan says, “He is such a big star, yet he has so much patience with a newcomer. Initially, there were moments of awkwardness and embarrassment while doing some emotionally intense scenes, but he slips so effortlessly into his character that I soon forgot about Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar. It made things so much easier for me.”

Ash has always been shy of exposing on screen. She has always refused to perform onscreen kissing or love--making scenes, but since Shabd with Sanjay Dutt, the actress has been trying to break the beatific image with greater sex appeal.

Sanjay Gadhvi said, "I would not like to spoil the suspense of the film. But yes, people will get a pleasant surprise in my film. Now statements like this are bound to create curiosity and hype. Recently we heard about Aishwarya Rai being killed in a road accident. Now we have news about Aishwarya Rai posing nude for the Playboy magazine There have been even pictures doing rounds with blurred breasts.

Most websites have the same/similar images. However it can easily be identified that the picrures are morphed and do not belong to Aish. Why are we so crazy about seeing Aishwarya or for that matter any celebrity nude? We have access to so many sex movies, come on at the end of the day all breasts are similar, well almost. It's nice to say but yes, the entire world is crazy behind nude movie stats.

The more they hide the more the need for it. Especially Indian actors since they do not reveal much are so much in demand. Even a simple smootch is publicised and is made hot news. The western media/people must be laughing at us. When Mallika had 17 smootches in the movie Khwahish, it was such big news. Not to mention the movie was a hit just because of the hype.

I watched the movie, it was good. I admit I was watched it because of the smootches, wouldn't have watched if not for the news. But finally, apart from the smootches, the movie was well made. I did like the story and the performances.

Aishwarya Rai Dead! Suddenly out of nowhere, rumours started doing the rounds: Aishwariya Rai had a car accident in Germany last night and died because of a severe head injury. Fans and the media went into a tizzy. In reality, Ash is doing fine.

A website, which if believed, Aishwarya Rai would probably be dead by now. A post of the website flashed saying Aishwarya Rai 'died in a tragic car accident'.

This is what a part of the news article read:
"Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Aishwarya Rai lost control while driving a friend's vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing her instantly."

After almost sending Ash's fans into a frantic tizzy, the web site posted a disclaimer at the end saying:

"This story was dynamically generated using a generic 'template' and is not factual. Any reference to specific individuals has been 100 per cent fabricated by web site visitors who have created fake stories by entering a name into a blank 'non-specific' template for the purpose of entertainment."

"I don't know who is spreading these false rumours," says Hari Singh, the actress' business manager. "I have got several calls from national as well as international media about this but let me clarify that Aishwariya Rai is fine."

"At present, she is shooting for Mani Ratnam's Guru in Chennai," he adds.

It may be recalled that about a decade ago, there were strong rumours that Shah Rukh Khan had been shot dead in Dubai.

"Why is such irresponsible news spread?" Singh wonders. "It is really shocking and disappointing."

However the real reason behind websites posting such news is to gain popularity. Such news spreads fast and results in the website getting large traffic, which in turn may add up to additional advertising revenues.

Our country is so mad about Aishwarya and such news is sure to create panic, curiosity and doubt.
